きのうわたしはごぜんはちじにおきました。それから、くじにとしょかんへいきました。わたしのクラスはごぜんじゅうじさんごふんからごごろくじまでです、たいへんですね！きのうのばんわたしははちじからべんきょしました。テレビをみませんでした。ごせんにじにｎました。

Why I am studying Japanese?

Ah I am finally attempting to learn Japanese again after 10 years. And ironically, I am learning it in New York instead of somewhere in Asia where I have spent my last 4 years procrastinating about learning a new language. Wanted to pick up Japanese again because I am interested in the country and culture, and also I didn't want my one year of learning Japanese 10 years ago to go into waste! Lessons have been pretty intense, I have classes four times a week and everyday is about learning its grammar and a lot of vocabulary. And now I am a proud owner of a blog because sensei thinks we need an avenue to practise writing the language. I will try to post regularly, in Japanese (I hope!) Hee!
